Projects
Below is a gallery featuring a selection of Witbrook's completed projects. The gallery features a range of our completed works including private and public sector clients across a wide range of industries.
Each job was performed with Witbrook taking a variant of the project management role (whereby we managed the construction), and in many cases we also supervised the entire job from the earliest concept stage, through to design, construction and handover.
We have a good post-delivery relationship with all of our clients, and all of those featured in this gallery are happy to be called as reference to their level of satisfaction with Witbrook's work.

ADA Cad
Witbrook worked to a tight timeframe to finish ADA Cads new office at Springwood. The project was rather extensive and included a total start to finish build of the office. For this project to meet requirements, a variety of undertakings needed to be completed by Witbrook. A new flush set ceiling was installed with new ceramic floor tiles laid to the front entry. A make good of the existing stairwell involved installing new treads, making good the partitions and laying a new vinyl floor under the stairwell. New partitions to create offices were installed and painted, with roller chain blinds installed in the first floor offices. A floating timber floor was installed to the reception area and corridor while the old carpet was replaced with a new more appropriate carpet. A custom designed reception was supplied and installed with signage. New joinery units were also custom made and installed. Barracks Butchery
This gourmet butcher’s shop is located in an old Heritage-listed Army barracks. As a result, careful consideration had to be given to all works during the fitout. The Tenancy shape was long and narrow, making careful planning necessary to every stage of the project. Existing timber floor boards were to be re-cladded with CFC floor sheeting, this was to ensure that the shop could be removed and restored back to it’s original form. As this is a double storied site with no allocation for air conditioning or refrigeration compressors, a mezzanine floor was built above the ceiling to store the AC and refrigeration equipment. Special fans with temper valves were installed to activate when temperature in the ceiling cavity would reach a certain point. In addition to the fitting out of the front-of-house, Witbrook installed a workshop area and new cold room. Witbrook fitted out the shop with a custom-bilt 10 metre glass meat display with Smart Stone marble fascia and top; stainless benching and racking; and Smart Stone marble columns 3000 high. The remainder of the works consisted of New Ceilings including feature bulkheads, Kwila feature tongue and groove paneling with archways, painting, staining feature timber, above slab plumbing works, electrical, data and lighting, air conditioning, and feature glass shelving. |

Including a glass splash back in the kitchen and mirrors to the back of all joinery units. Dreamy Donuts- Charlotte St
Witbrook were proud to fitout the first Dreamy Donuts store in Australia. It was of vital importance that the store fitout be completed on time and allow the store to open on it's highly anticipated scheduled opening day. Dreamy Donuts supplied all the equipment and front counters to Witbrook and as such, we were required to work around the delivery and installation of these items. The fitout of the Charlotte St Dreamy Donuts consisted of relocating the entry doors and creating a new entrance at the rear of the tenancy. New aluminum joinery and glazing were installed as well as new portions of ceiling and it's bulkhead.Plasterboard cladding was also attached to the exposed block walls within the tenancy. Hyundai Construction Equipment
Witbrook had carried out Stage 1 of the fitout of Hyundai Construction Equipments Office and was asked to complete the new offices and training rooms. All staff members had moved into the new office, meaning Witbrook required to carry out the works while the staff members were working. In order to cause as little disruption as possible to those working Witbrook divided the work into sections and shut off areas that were under construction in order to ensure an efficient project which adhered to appropriate workplace health and safety standards. Witbrook installed both plasterboard and glass partitions, a new grid ceiling under the existing mezzanine floor, installed new floor coverings to the ground floor and supplied and installed custom made joinery items for the training room. The power, lighting and data were also installed to suit the new layout and block out roller blinds to the offices. |

Local Directories
Local Directories came to Witbrook with the need of a bigger office to match their business growth. The new office needed to be modern, stylish, and refreshingly different to compliment their business. Local Directories were referred to Witbrook as they wanted a professional project management firm that could manage all aspects of the fitout from design to handover. The design called for an office fitout that included: full height painted plasterboard and glass partitions, ceilings and bulkheads, timber veneer and acrylic feature panels, a stacked glass feature, mirrors, floor coverings, joinery, new workstations and screens, office furniture for approximately 100 staff, electrical /lighting and data, and AV cabling. The office space chosen for this design was approximately 1000m2 over 2 levels. Witbrook were able to complete the project on time and handover an office that perfectly fit the design concept and specifications Local Directories had envisioned. |

Mod's Hair
Witbrook had the pleasure of fitting out this new up-market hair salon at the Gold Coast’s “Circle on Cavill” shopping centre. There were numerous challenges. This fitout was a new fitout concept for Mod’s Hair chain of salons. However, the client was based in New Zealand, and the Witbrook team hadn’t personally met with the client until handover of the project. In addition, the architect had designed this fitout from New Zealand without a site measure. Nevertheless, the project was completed to the satisfaction of the client, with the tenancy consisting of 2 different levels of polished concrete floors. It features custom built joinery, mirrors and cut stations, bulkheads with feature lighting, and special “floating” shelving that’s illuminated internally by LEDs. The under-counter POS display, coffee kitchenette, and wash bays were all connected to plumbing and power under the slab. Likewise Witbrook arranged all other electrical, lighting and plumbing. |

Pizza Hut- Nundah
As one of Witbrook’s valued clients, Pizza Hut engaged Witbrook to fitout the new Nundah store. Working with strict corporate design standards Witbrook had a timeframe to complete the fitout in 6 weeks. The Pizza Hut Nundah fitout construction works included: installation of an exhaust system with slab above the ceiling, demolition, partitioning and ceilings, painting, tiling, furniture, counters and joinery, computer systems, specialist kitchen equipment, stainless steel, benching and racking, exhaust canopies and fans, security systems, concrete plinths, signage, electrical, lighting and portable fire equipment. The Pizza Hut fitout presented a larger scope of work than traditional refurbishments and therefore require an increased amount of dilligence to complete the works on time. |

Qld Positive People
This non-profit organisation desperately sought appropriate office and community space but had been unable to find an appropriate solution for over three years. Funded by a Qld Health Capital Works Grant, QPP needed a company to help them avoid council regulatory issues that had dogged them in the past, while satsifying the provisions of service agreement with their funding body. Numerous project management companies had put it in the “too hard basket” before QPP discovered Witbrook. The client felt immediately at ease knowing that not only would the work be taken on, but that the Witbrook team would take charge of the entire process. We were aware that their funding was finite, and it was important that nothing could be left to chance or assumption. When the building was officially opened, they were happy to receive specific and very favorable mention of the quality of the fitout. |

Remax- Milton
Witbrook was approached to carry out the refurbishment of the reception/foyer area and boardroom at Remax’s existing office in Milton. The main scope of the works involved the refurbishment of the reception/foyer area which happened to be the only entrance/exit for the building. This presented a major challenge and required Witbrook to stage the works and also carry out certain works out of hours in order to keep disruptions to the client and other companies working in the building to a minimum. The refurbishment works consisted of demolition works to remove existing display units and uplift existing tiles in the reception/foyer area. New floor and wall tiles were laid with a new reception desk installed. Witbrook installed new bulkheads, feature panels and made good the existing walls which were also painted, with new down lights installed. The existing boardroom table and joinery units were re-stained. |

Shores Realty
This new Gold Coast real estate office provided Witbrook with a very specific brief about what they wanted. This included a design that included a very impressive reception area and modern meeting room as a front of house area; as well as a separate back of house that incorporates sales workstations; staff kitchen and lunch room. The 80m2 floor area is predominantly a long narrow L shape with a full height glass shopfront, which the clients saw as an opportunity for maximizing their real estate window display. The brief included black granite flooring to the reception floor and white calacutta marble clad to the reception counter and 4m feature wall and feature columns behind the reception and meeting rooms. The remainder of the brief called for new carpet throughout with sheet vinyl to the staff kitchen and lunch room, new air conditioning system, new painted plasterboard and frameless glass partitions, custom built joinery items, new workstations and screens, chain roller blinds, plumbing and new electrical, data and lighting. |
